De plus, afin d’empêcher la diffusion des idées de Siavash Avesta, un général de la Force Qods — qui affirme lui-même avoir créé et entraîné le Hamas et dont le véritable nom est Yadollah Qazvini — a été, dès 1997, rendu célèbre par un producteur infiltré et espion à Los Angeles sous le nom de Dr Hassan Abbasi, afin de mener une guerre médiatique et psychologique contre Siyavash Awesta.
